About the role

We're seeking high-energy, self-motivated professionals with 1-2 years of experience to join our business development team. This dynamic role combines sales and marketing responsibilities, focusing primarily on our service offerings and our ProfileIQ and ProfilED products across both US and Indian markets. Ideal candidates will demonstrate high agency, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for educational innovation. Primary Focus Areas Services Business Development: Online Program Management, Content Development, Learning Ecosystem Solutions Product Specialization: ProfileIQ (Professional DNA assessment) and ProfilED (Cognitive development tools) Geographic Markets: United States and India Key Responsibilities Sales Activities Identify and qualify potential clients in educational institutions, corporate training departments, and HR development sectors Conduct discovery calls to understand prospect challenges and align them with our solutions. Create compelling, tailored solution presentations for ProfileIQ and ProfilED implementations Develop and manage sales pipeline across assigned territories and sectors Collaborate with senior team members on complex proposals and presentations Navigate the decision-making process within educational institutions and corporate environments Build relationships with key stakeholders and decision makers Track all activities and maintain accurate records in our CRM system. Meet or exceed quarterly business development targets Marketing Support Activities Collaborate with the marketing team on targeted campaigns for services and products Create and deliver product demonstrations at industry events and webinars Contribute content for case studies, success stories, and solution briefs Represent ThoughtJumper at education technology conferences and networking events Gather market intelligence and competitor information Provide feedback on messaging effectiveness and prospect responses Support social media initiatives related to ProfileIQ and ProfilED Requirements Required Qualifications 1-2 years of experience in business development, sales, account management, or marketing Bachelor's degree (business, marketing, education, psychology, or related fields preferred) Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills Demonstrated ability to quickly understand and articulate complex concepts Self-starter mentality with proven ability to work independently and take initiative Experience with or interest in educational technology, HR tech, or learning platforms Comfort with digital communication tools and virtual presentations Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings and industry events Basic understanding of the education sector in either US or Indian markets Preferred Qualifications Experience selling B2B software or services Knowledge of career development, assessment tools, or learning platforms Familiarity with educational institutions' procurement processes Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) Understanding of both US and Indian business cultures Previous work with SaaS products or subscription-based services Demonstrated interest in education, learning, or professional development Benefits Growth & Development Path This role is designed as an entry point to a rewarding career at ThoughtJumper.
