We are looking for a passionate and experienced PGT Physics teacher to inspire students of Grades XI & XII through conceptual, inquiry-driven, and application-based learning. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to prepare students for CBSE Board examinations and competitive entrance tests while fostering scientific curiosity.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Physics to Senior Secondary (Grades XI & XII) as per the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging lessons using practical demonstrations, simulations, and real-life applications.
- Conduct Physics laboratory sessions while ensuring laboratory safety and proper documentation.
- Prepare annual curriculum plans, lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments and provide constructive feedback.
- Support students in CBSE Board examination preparation and competitive examinations such as JEE (where applicable).
- Foster analytical thinking, scientific temperament, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrate technology and digital learning tools into classroom instruction.
- Maintain accurate academic records and communicate student progress with parents.
- Participate actively in school events, exhibitions, science fairs, clubs, and interdisciplinary projects.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and teaching practices.
- Undertake additional academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the school.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree (M.Sc.) in Physics from a recognized university.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in CBSE Senior Secondary classes.
- Strong command over the CBSE Physics curriculum and assessment pattern.
- Experience in handling Physics practicals and laboratory management.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and classroom management skills.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital teaching platforms.
