Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Educational Counselor at Simandhar Education, based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The Educational Counselor will interact with prospective students and professionals, providing expert guidance on educational pathways, certifications, and career opportunities. Day-to-day responsibilities include assessing candidates’ needs, offering personalized counseling, supporting enrollment processes, and nurturing relationships that ensure student success. The role will also involve collaboration with internal teams to enhance service delivery and student outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling to guide individuals in choosing appropriate education and certification programs
- Expertise in Career Counseling to help students and professionals identify and plan career paths aligned with their aspirations
- Strong Communication skills, including active listening, verbal and written communication, to engage and support diverse stakeholders
- Knowledge of the education domain, including certifications and career pathways in finance and accounting
- Problem-solving skills and a student-centric approach for addressing individual needs and challenges
- Experience in educational services or counseling roles is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Psychology, or related fields is highly desirable
- Familiarity with the Indian and global education system, particularly in finance and accounting, is a plus
