Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in India for an Educational Counselor. The role involves providing guidance to students on educational pathways, assisting with career counseling, and offering one-on-one or group consultations regarding academic programs. The Educational Counselor will serve as a mentor to help students make informed decisions, address their queries, and align their goals with appropriate learning opportunities. Collaborating with internal teams and counselors to enhance learning experiences is also an integral part of this role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Educational Consulting and Student Counseling
- Strong skills in Career Counseling and guiding students on academic and professional choices
- Exceptional Communication abilities, including active listening and the ability to convey information clearly
- A solid understanding of Education systems and best practices in counseling
- Ability to foster meaningful connections and provide empathetic support
- Relevant experience or certification in counseling is a plus
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field
- Proficiency in local languages is beneficial
