About Inferentics
We're an early-stage EdTech startup building an AI-powered analytics platform for CBSE schools. We ingest student exam data and turn it into clear, actionable insights for teachers, HODs, and principals.
The gap we are trying to fill
Our product can tell a teacher that Section C underperformed on Chapter 7. What it can't yet do is tell them why that actually matters and what a good teacher would do about it, in a way that's grounded in how CBSE actually works.
What you will do
- Pressure-test our AI logic: We build recommendation logic based on numbers. You'll tell us what the numbers miss, because you've sat in a staff room, looked at a marksheet, and knew exactly what was really going on.
- Help us classify student mistakes: We extract student answers from scanned answer sheets. We need to know: was this a conceptual gap? A silly calculation error? A misread question? You'll help us build and validate that taxonomy, and then help train our AI to do it at scale.
- Be the learning brain in product conversations: When we're designing a new feature, you're the person who asks "would a real teacher actually use this?"
- Build CBSE-grounded content and benchmarks: Chapter mappings, learning objectives, marking scheme logic — the reference layer that makes everything else accurate.
Background
- You've taught CBSE Maths at grades 9–12 in a private school or tutor students
- You’ve done taught in coaching centres for JEE and carried out remediation on the basis of assessment analysis
- You've been involved in board correction or know marking schemes well enough to predict them
- You have collaborated with an EdTech company before as a counterpart to the product team
- You already use AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, etc.) in your work.
- You can look at a table of student scores and have a point of view
