Role Description The Education Counselor will provide guidance to students on suitable academic programs, institutions, and study destinations based on their profile, interests, and career goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting one-on-one counseling sessions, explaining admission requirements and application procedures, and supporting students with documentation related to study abroad and immigration processes. The role involves maintaining accurate student records, following up with inquiries, coordinating with internal teams and partner institutions, and participating in information sessions or seminars. The Education Counselor will also respond to queries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, while ensuring a professional, ethical, and student-focused experience. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ahmedabad.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong Educational Consulting and Education-related knowledge, particularly in international study options.
- Candidates should possess Student Counseling and Career Counseling skills to guide learners on academic and professional pathways.
- Candidates should possess excellent Communication skills, including clear verbal and written communication in English and relevant local languages.
- Candidates should possess strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and the ability to build trust with students and families.
- Candidates should possess good organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple student cases and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Counseling, Psychology, Management, or a related field is preferred.
- Prior experience in education counseling, study abroad advisory, or immigration services is an advantage.
- Comfort with basic computer applications, CRM tools, and online communication platforms is beneficial.
