About the Company
Education Japan is an Indo-Japan education initiative helping Indian students pursue higher education opportunities in Japan. We work closely with students and families to guide them through university selection, applications, and admissions.
About the Role
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Education Counselor to guide students aspiring for undergraduate studies in Japan. This role requires strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to build trust with students and parents.
Responsibilities
- Counsel students and parents regarding undergraduate study opportunities in Japan
- Handle inquiries via calls, emails, and in-person meetings
- Convert leads into successful enrollments through effective follow-ups
- Build and maintain strong relationships with students throughout the admission cycle
- Understand student profiles and recommend suitable programs/universities
- Achieve monthly revenue and conversion targets
Qualifications
- Postgraduate degree preferred
Required Skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (non-negotiable)
- Strong sales, negotiation, and persuasion abilities (non negotiable)
- Confident, presentable, and professional demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
Preferred Skills
- Background in Engineering is an advantage, but not mandatory
