Job Specification:

  Location: Barnet
• Job Title: Business and Economics Teacher
• Contract: Permanent
• Full/Part Time: Full Time
• Rate: £140-£240 p/d (DOE) (Paid to scale)
• 
  Hours: 8:00am - 3pm
  
  

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver Business and Economics lessons across key stages 3 and 4, ensuring a high standard of teaching and learning
• Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging and challenging for all ability levels
• Foster an inclusive environment, encouraging students to reach their full potential
• Provide detailed and regular feedback on student achievement, progress, problems etc.
• Promote good pupil behaviour, dealing promptly with conflict and incidents within and beyond the classroom in line with established policy
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Business department and the wider school
  
  

The ideal candidate:

• Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
• Proven experience teaching Business and/or Economics in a secondary school setting.
• Passion for Business/Economics and the ability to inspire students.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
• A proactive and collaborative approach to working with colleagues and students.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
  
  

YOU MUST:

• Hold valid RIGHT TO WORK in the UK
• Hold Enhanced Child DBS on the update service
• Provide two professional references
