Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru for an Edtech Sales Team Lead at Internz Learn. The Sales Team Lead will oversee a team of sales representatives, set daily and weekly targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching to ensure consistent achievement of revenue and enrollment goals. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies for edtech products and programs, managing the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing, and maintaining strong relationships with students, parents, academic institutions, and corporate partners. The Sales Team Lead will collaborate closely with marketing and product teams to refine offerings, gather market feedback, and support promotional campaigns. Daily responsibilities also include sales reporting, pipeline management, maintaining CRM data accuracy, and driving a high-performance, learner-focused sales culture.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in edtech or education sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and leading small to medium-sized sales teams.
- Strong leadership and people management skills, including coaching, performance monitoring, and motivation in a target-driven environment.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities, with a customer-centric approach to consultative selling.
- Comfort working with CRM tools, sales dashboards, and basic data analysis to track pipeline, conversion rates, and team performance.
- Understanding of the education and skilling landscape, including student journeys, institutional sales, and B2C/B2B sales models.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field; a postgraduate degree or relevant certifications in sales or education technology is a plus.
- Experience designing or refining sales processes, contributing to go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with marketing on campaigns is beneficial.
