Industry: Education Technology (EdTech) – B2B and B2C learning platforms serving schools, colleges, corporate L&D, and upskilling programs across India. Role focuses on on-site field sales, institutional partnerships, and revenue growth across assigned territories.
Primary title: EdTech Sales Executive
Role & Responsibilities
- Own a defined sales territory: proactively prospect, qualify, and convert leads from schools, colleges, coaching centres, and corporate L&D teams to meet monthly and quarterly targets.
- Conduct on-site demonstrations, product walkthroughs, and pilot programs that articulate learning outcomes, ROI, and implementation timelines to key decision-makers.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycle: prepare proposals, negotiate commercial terms, close deals, and ensure smooth handoff to onboarding and customer success teams.
- Maintain accurate pipeline and activity logs in CRM; deliver timely forecasts and weekly reports to sales leadership.
- Build and nurture long-term institutional relationships through regular field visits, workshops, and stakeholder engagement to drive renewals and upsells.
- Collaborate with marketing and product teams to feed market insights, shape GTM campaigns, and improve product-market fit for target segments.
Skills & Qualifications Must-Have
- Proven track record in field sales for EdTech, education services, or B2B SaaS selling to institutions.
- Strong ability to close institutional deals and manage complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience using CRMs to manage pipeline, forecasts, and sales activities; disciplined territory management.
- Excellent presentation and demo skills for in-person client meetings and workshops.
- Comfortable with frequent travel across assigned region(s) and working on-site with clients.
Preferred
- Experience selling to K-12 schools, higher-education institutions, or corporate L&D buyers.
- Prior success in quota-driven roles within high-growth EdTech or learning platforms.
