Role Description As an Edtech Counsellor (B2C) at CAREERBLOC, you will guide prospective and current learners in selecting suitable programs based on their background, goals, and interests. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, messages, and virtual or in-person consultations to explain course offerings, learning outcomes, and career paths. Your day-to-day activities will include understanding learner needs, maintaining accurate records in the CRM, following up on leads, and supporting learners through the enrollment process. You will collaborate with the marketing and academic teams to provide feedback on learner queries and improve communication materials. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru.
Qualifications
- Strong counselling and advisory skills, with the ability to listen actively, clarify goals, and suggest appropriate learning pathways.
- Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written); proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage.
- Comfort with B2C sales activities, including lead qualification, follow-ups, and closing enrollments in an ethical and learner-centric manner.
- Ability to use CRM tools, spreadsheets, and online communication platforms to manage learner data and interactions efficiently.
- Customer service mindset, with a focus on empathy, patience, and building long-term relationships with learners.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple inquiries, meet targets, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Prior experience in edtech, career counselling, admissions, or inside sales is preferred but not mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline; additional certification in counselling, psychology, education, or career guidance is a plus.
