Role Description The EDTECH - Business Development Executive role is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The role involves identifying and qualifying new business opportunities in the EdTech sector, including schools, colleges, training institutes, and corporate learning partners. The Executive will manage the entire sales cycle: prospecting, conducting outreach via calls, emails, and meetings, preparing presentations, delivering product demos, and negotiating commercial terms. The position includes building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities in CRM tools, and meeting or exceeding revenue and activity targets. The Executive will collaborate with marketing and product teams to refine value propositions, gather market intelligence, and provide feedback on customer needs. Day-to-day responsibilities also include relationship management with existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and identifying upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven skills in New Business Development and Lead Generation, including prospecting, pipeline building, and opportunity qualification.
- Strong Business and Account Management capabilities, with experience managing client relationships and driving revenue growth.
- Effective Communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to deliver clear presentations and negotiate with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in EdTech, education services, SaaS, or related industries is highly beneficial.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Comfort with CRM systems, sales reporting, and basic data analysis to track performance and inform decisions.
- Ability to work on-site in Bengaluru, travel locally for client meetings as needed, and thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Self-motivated, organized, and collaborative mindset, with a commitment to ethical and inclusive business practices.
