Objective of the Role: As a key part of our Student Affairs Department, you will play a dual role – acting as both a mentor and a campus operations manager. You will be responsible for the holistic experience of students on campus, providing academic guidance, mentoring, and ensuring their physical, emotional, and academic well-being. You will serve as the bridge between Edoofa, campus partners, and students – ensuring seamless coordination, consistent support, and a strong sense of community. Key Responsibilities: 1. Student Success & Mentorship ● Provide warm, consistent, and empathetic support to students through regular mentorship and coaching sessions. ● Help students navigate their work-study responsibilities and understand how they contribute to scholarships and long-term career success. ● Facilitate engaging workshops and training sessions that build both soft skills and professional competencies. ● Collaborate with the academic team to customize and improve learning content based on student feedback. ● Track individual progress and proactively offer support to students falling behind. ● Co-create personalized growth plans that address each student’s aspirations and challenges. 2. On-Campus Operations & Support ● Act as the first point of contact for all student queries, concerns, and needs on campus—responding promptly and thoughtfully. ● Offer emotional, academic, and logistical support to students adjusting to new cultural and educational environments. ● Conduct daily check-ins and surveys to ensure student satisfaction, safety, and well-being. ● Liaise with campus authorities, hostel providers, and vendors to resolve issues and ensure a seamless experience. ● Guide students through essential administrative processes including university formalities, visa documentation, and accommodation logistics. 3. Community Engagement & Brand Representation ● Build a vibrant, welcoming, and inclusive student community through events, peer groups, and cultural activities. ● Proactively promote student engagement and foster strong peer-to-peer relationships. ● Represent Edoofa with professionalism and empathy in interactions with institutional partners and stakeholders. ● Work closely with internal teams (admissions, counselling, academics) to ensure alignment and resolve student concerns in a timely manner. What We’re Looking For ● Minimum 2 years of experience in student counselling, account handling, customer service, or coaching/mentoring roles ● A genuine passion for supporting student success and building meaningful, long-term relationships ● Strong interpersonal skills, including empathetic listening, clear communication, and effective conflict resolution ● Ability to work seamlessly with multicultural and international student communities ● Highly organized, proactive, and adaptable, with a solution-driven approach to challenges ● Openness to being stationed full-time at a designated campus location, with flexibility for occasional travel.
