We at AM:PM are building a Gen Z-first news network for reels, short-form video, and fast threads.
We are not building another content page.
We are building a new-age news distribution engine designed for how attention actually works today.
As an Editorial Intern, you will be part of the earliest team shaping this from the ground up.
Why this role matters

- You are building instincts in speed, judgment, and narrative control, the hardest skills in media
This is not a passive internship. This is operator training in a live system.
What you will do
1) Short-form content sourcing (daily)
- Find high-signal reels and short videos (Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
- Save, organize, and log content
- Reach out to creators for permissions
2) Story discovery
- Track X, Reddit, newsletters, and news platforms
- Catch narratives early, before they peak
- Filter signal vs noise
3) Verification and context
- Validate claims using credible sources
- Identify missing context, incentives, and timelines
- Flag uncertainty clearly
4) Balanced perspectives
- Source:
- 1 mainstream take
- 1 credible counter take
- Back both with supporting links
5) Scriptwriting
- Reel scripts (30–60 sec)
- X threads (5–9 posts)
- Short structured posts|
Coverage expectations
- Work across assigned categories (Politics, Tech, Sports, etc.)
- Minimum: 10 videos per sub-category daily
- 5 popular takes
- 5 counter takes
Each entry must include:
- Video link
- Creator name
- 1-line insight
- Label (Popular / Counter)
