About saar.
saar. is the new lifestyle brand from the Unisource group — a design-led, editorial lifestyle concept store making handcrafted, small-batch objects for home, hosting, and everyday rituals. Ceramics, linen, leather goods, fragrance, games. Everything is designed with intention. We work in seasonal drops — each one with its own name, its own world, its own mood. We're pre-launch, building our founding team, and looking for people who care about the details as much as we do.
The Role
We're looking for someone who lives a little online and a lot in the real world — and knows how to translate one into the other. You'll own saar.'s Instagram presence, create the content, manage the calendar, build the community, and keep our Shopify store updated with every new drop. You'll sit directly with the founder and have real ownership from day one. This starts as a full-time role with room to grow as the brand does.
What you'll do
- Shoot and edit Reels, Stories, and short-form content — lifestyle-led, product-grounded, always considered
- Plan and run a monthly content calendar across Instagram (other platforms to follow)
- Write captions, hashtags, and community copy in saar.'s voice — warm, a little witty, never corporate
- Build and maintain the feed: static posts, carousels, Story templates
- Be present in comments and DMs — community is built one conversation at a time
- Track what's working and bring those learnings back to the table
- Update product listings on Shopify each drop — copy, images, metadata. No coding, just care.
- Help with design tasks as needed: social assets, mockups, collateral
- Stay genuinely curious about what's moving in lifestyle, home, and fashion content
What we're looking for
- Fresh graduate or 0–2 years in — we care about your eye more than your experience
- A body of work we can actually see: your Instagram, a brand you've managed, college projects, anything real
- Good visual instincts — you understand light, composition, colour, and pacing
- Video editing skills: CapCut, Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro
- Photoshop and Illustrator (required); Canva, Procreate, or InDesign (good to have)
- Basic Shopify familiarity — or a genuine willingness to learn
- A quiet obsession with the lifestyle space — you follow brands like The Row, Jacquemus, Aesop, Hermès and you actually study them
- Strong written English — you sound like yourself, not a template
- Comfortable working independently in a small, close-knit team
Details
- Location: On-site, Gurugram (Haryana)
- Structure: Full-time
- Compensation: ₹30,000/month to start, moving up after review. Annual increments and merit-based bonus. Exceptional performance reviewed sooner.
- Reports to: Founder
- Start date: Immediate
How to apply
Write to bani@saarcollective.com with the subject line: Application for Editorial & Content Creator. Include:
- A resume or a short note on who you are and what you've been making
- Your Instagram — personal or anything you've run for a brand
- Your work: Reels, posts, projects, college assignments (2-3 reels must be submitted for consideration)
- One line: a home or lifestyle brand whose content you love, and why
No cover letter needed. We care about your eye, your taste, and your ability to make things.
