Festivals From India is hiring for their client Saffronart a detail-oriented Editorial Assistant with 2–3 years of professional writing experience. This role supports the editorial team across a range of writing, research, and administrative functions, contributing to both day-to-day operations and key projects. The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of English, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines. A background in art is highly desirable. Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or Creative Writing.
- Excellent written and spoken English, with strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Prior experience in a content, editorial, or journalistic role.
- Ability to write clearly and concisely while adhering to the organisation’s style, tone, and voice.
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work independently once assigned a project.
- Background in or working knowledge of Indian art preferred.
- Basic understanding of SEO is an advantage
