About the Opportunity
We are looking for a highly skilled and passionate IBM ITX / WTX Developer with strong experience in enterprise integration and EDI implementations. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in designing, developing, and supporting complex transformation solutions using IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX/ITX) in enterprise environments.
This role offers an opportunity to work on large-scale B2B/EDI integrations, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to mission-critical integration projects across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Design, develop, and implement complex EDI and integration solutions using IBM ITX/WTX
✅ Build and maintain maps using Map Designer, Type Designer, and Database Interface Designer
✅ Work with EDI standards such as ANSI X12 and EDIFACT
✅ Develop XML/XSD-based transformation solutions
✅ Integrate systems using AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP, and related protocols
✅ Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing WTX/ITX applications
✅ Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and technical teams for successful project delivery
✅ Participate in requirement analysis, technical design, testing, deployment, and support activities
✅ Ensure performance optimization and adherence to integration best practices
Required Skills
🔹 IBM WebSphere Transformation Extender (WTX/ITX) v8.2+
🔹 Map Designer, Type Designer, Database Interface Designer
🔹 Strong EDI knowledge – ANSI X12 & EDIFACT
🔹 XML Technologies – XSD (Mandatory), DTD
🔹 SQL and Database concepts
🔹 Experience with integration protocols: AS2, SFTP, REST, SOAP
🔹 Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
🔹 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have
⭐ IBM Sterling Integrator experience
⭐ Azure Function Apps / Logic Apps
⭐ Exposure to enterprise middleware and message broker environments
