Position Overview:
The Massage Therapist at Edgewood Tahoe is responsible for delivering exceptional services at our prestigious Forbes-rated spa. As a member of our world-class wellness team, you will provide luxurious massage services tailored to our discerning clientele, ensuring an unparalleled relaxation and rejuvenation experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, hot stone, prenatal, and specialty therapies.
- Assess guest needs and recommend appropriate treatments for relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being.
- Maintain the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and customer service in a luxury spa setting.
- Ensure treatment rooms are impeccably prepared, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies.
- Uphold Forbes Travel Guide standards and spa protocols to deliver five-star experiences.
- Educate guests on post-massage care, wellness techniques, and spa products.
- Adhere to all safety, hygiene, and sanitation guidelines, including proper draping techniques.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Maintain active licensure and certifications required by state and industry standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a high-end spa, resort, or luxury hospitality setting preferred.
- Proficiency in multiple massage modalities; additional certifications (e.g., reflexology, aromatherapy) are a plus.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to provide personalized guest experiences.

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 50 lbs.
