Head of Risk

Headquartered in London, Payment Service Provider and direct card acquirer Ecommpay is an authorised payment institution (API). Our payment gateway combines direct acquiring capabilities, 100+ alternative payment methods, mass payouts, and technological innovation within a single unified integration, enabling eCommerce clients to accept payments from and issue payouts to customers anywhere in the world.

Our mission is to simplify and enhance how payments are made and processed. As we continue to grow and evolve, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Risk to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulations
• Implement Wind-Down Planning and Business Continuity strategies
• Strengthen Operational Resilience and oversee Incident Management
• Provide oversight of IT Audit Compliance and cybersecurity risks
• Collaborate with leadership to integrate risk management into daily operations
• Promote risk awareness across the organization

Requirements

• Strong experience in risk management, operational resilience, and compliance in FinTech or financial services
• In-depth knowledge of regulatory frameworks and risk methodologies
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally with teams and senior management to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks effectively
• Certifications such as IRM, ICA Certificate in Risk Management preferred
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills
