eCommerce Website Manager – Sales & Growth

Role Overview
- Drive online sales and growth for Action Tour Guide’s self-guided audio tour products.
- This role is not just about maintaining the website; the person will be expected to actively improve sales, identify growth opportunities, optimize product pages, monitor customer behavior, and work with marketing, content, SEO, design, and development teams to increase revenue.
Key Responsibilities
1.Website Sales & Revenue Growth:-
- Own and improve website sales performance.
- Track revenue, conversions, traffic, cart abandonment, and customer journey data.
- Identify opportunities to increase purchases, average order value (AOV), and repeat sales.
- Run offers, campaigns, bundles, pricing tests, and promotional strategies.
- Ensure key products and high-revenue pages are properly highlighted.
2. Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO)
- Improve website layout, product pages, landing pages, checkout flow, and calls to action (CTAs).
- Analyze user behavior to identify where customers drop off.
- Recommend and test changes to improve conversion rate.
- Ensure the website clearly explains the product, value proposition, and buying process.
3. SEO & Organic Growth
- Coordinate with the SEO/content team to improve organic traffic and rankings.
- Ensure product pages, category pages, blogs, and landing pages are SEO-friendly.
- Monitor keyword rankings, traffic growth, and content performance.
- Identify missing content opportunities based on search demand.
4. Website Content & Product Management
- Ensure all website content is accurate, updated, and sales-focused.
- Manage product descriptions, pricing, images, FAQs, reviews, and promotional banners.
- Coordinate with the content/design team for new page creation and page improvements.
- Regularly audit pages for outdated information, broken links, poor formatting, or weak messaging.
5. Analytics & Reporting
- Monitor website performance using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Hotjar, Microsoft Clarity, Shopify/WooCommerce reports, or similar platforms.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports on sales, traffic, conversion rate, top/low-performing products/pages, cart abandonment, SEO performance, and campaign performance.
- Share actionable recommendations, not just data.
6. Marketing & Campaign Coordination
- Work with marketing teams on paid ads, email campaigns, social media promotions, and seasonal offers.
- Ensure campaign landing pages are ready and optimized before launch.
- Track campaign performance and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with design and content teams for banners, creatives, and promotional messaging.
7. Website Operations & Quality Control
- Ensure the website functions smoothly across desktop and mobile.
- Identify and report bugs, payment issues, page errors, slow-loading pages, or broken user flows.
- Coordinate with developers for technical fixes and improvements.
- Ensure all pages are mobile-friendly and easy to navigate.
- Conduct regular website audits.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8-10 years of experience managing eCommerce websites, online sales channels, digital revenue platforms, or high-growth web businesses.
- Strong understanding of online sales, customer journey, and conversion optimization.
- Good knowledge of SEO, website content, landing pages, and digital marketing.
- Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and reporting tools.
- Ability to analyze data and convert it into clear action points.
- Good understanding of CMS/eCommerce platforms such as WordPress, WooCommerce, Shopify, Magento, or similar.
- Strong coordination skills with content, design, SEO, marketing, and development teams.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong written communication skills.
