Role Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Ecommerce Website Catalog Assistant to manage product data, maintain website listings, and ensure catalog accuracy. The ideal candidate should have strong Excel skills, fast typing speed, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to efficiently handle large volumes of product information.
Key Responsibilities
- Upload, update, and maintain product listings on the website
- Manage product titles, descriptions, ingredients, specifications, pricing, and stock details
- Organize products into appropriate categories, tags, and collections
- Handle bulk product data management using Excel or Google Sheets
- Ensure accuracy of all catalog data with minimal errors
- Maintain high typing efficiency for quick and accurate data entry
- Coordinate with internal teams for inventory, pricing, and promotions
- Monitor and correct catalog inconsistencies, duplicate entries, or missing information
- Optimize listings for better search visibility and customer experience
- Assist in promotional campaigns, bundle creation, and product launches
Required Skills
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets
- Fast and accurate typing speed
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong data management and organizational skills
- Ability to handle large datasets efficiently
- Basic understanding of ecommerce platforms (Shopify preferred)
- Good written English for product descriptions and data entry
- Basic SEO understanding is a plus
- Ability to work systematically under deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in ecommerce catalog management or data entry
- Knowledge of supplements, nutrition, or fitness products is an advantage
- Familiarity with website backend systems
- Basic image editing knowledge is a bonus
