E-Commerce Manager
Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced E-Commerce Manager to lead and grow our online sales business in the food industry. The candidate will be responsible for managing online marketplaces, D2C platforms, digital promotions, product listings, pricing strategies, inventory coordination, and overall online business performance. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in handling food/FMCG e-commerce operations and driving revenue growth across multiple digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and grow e-commerce business across platforms like Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy Instamart, and D2C websites.
- Develop and execute e-commerce sales strategies to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
- Optimize product listings, keywords, images, pricing, and content for better visibility and conversions.
- Coordinate with marketing teams for digital campaigns, promotions, and performance marketing activities.
- Analyze sales performance, customer behavior, ROI, and marketplace analytics to improve business performance.
- Manage inventory planning, stock availability, and order fulfillment coordination with supply chain teams.
- Handle marketplace advertising, sponsored campaigns, and promotional activities.
- Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences within the food/FMCG industry.
- Ensure smooth customer experience, timely issue resolution, and high seller ratings.
- Prepare MIS reports, sales forecasts, and monthly performance reports for management.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces and quick commerce platforms.
- Experience in food, FMCG, packaged foods, or beverage industry preferred.
- Knowledge of SEO, digital marketing, online merchandising, and marketplace ads.
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and data analysis.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and team management skills.
- Ability to handle multiple online channels and high-volume operations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, E-Commerce, or related field.
- MBA preferred.
Experience
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in E-commerce, preferably in Food/FMCG industry.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Experience managing D2C and marketplace business.
- Strong analytical and commercial mindset.
- Familiarity with quick commerce business models and online consumer trends.
