ECommerce Manager
Location: Chennai
Role Summary
We are seeking a high‑impact E‑commerce Leader to own and scale our global Amazon business across US, UAE (GCC) and Europe. The incumbent will be responsible for driving revenue growth, marketplace expansion, P&L ownership, and brand performance across international marketplaces, with a strong focus on Beauty / Personal Care / FMCG categories.
This is a hands‑on, brand‑side role, requiring deep operational experience on Amazon Seller Central and/or Vendor Central, not just agency exposure.
Key Responsibilities
Amazon Marketplace Growth & P&L Ownership
- Own end‑to‑end Amazon P&L for international marketplaces (US, UAE/GCC, Europe mandatory)
- Scale existing brands and launch new SKUs through listing optimization, keyword strategy, and conversion levers
- Drive 3x+ growth journeys using structured demand generation and operational excellence
International Expansion & Market Operations
- Manage Amazon Seller Central / Vendor Central operations across multiple geographies
- Handle international cataloging, FBA/FBM models, inventory planning, cross‑border logistics and compliance
- Coordinate with internal supply chain, finance, and regulatory teams for exports
Performance Marketing & Growth Levers
- Plan and execute Amazon Ads (SP, SB, SD) with clear ROI and TACoS control
- Build channel‑specific growth strategies for US, UAE, and European consumer behavior
- Monitor KPIs: Revenue growth, contribution margin, conversion rate, ACOS/TACOS, inventory health
Brand & Category Leadership (Beauty/FMCG Focus)
- Lead category positioning for Beauty / Personal Care / FMCG / Ayurvedic portfolios
- Own brand content – A+ content, brand stores, international compliance labeling
- Analyze competitor benchmarks and category trends across global marketplaces
Stakeholder & Team Management
- Work with agencies (ads/content) without depending on them
- Mentor internal teams and ensure strong execution discipline
- Present performance reviews and growth roadmaps to senior leadership
Critical Must‑Have Experience (Non‑Negotiable)
✅ 5–8 years of total e‑commerce experience
✅ Minimum 3 years of hands‑on Amazon experience (Seller Central or Vendor Central)
✅ International marketplace exposure is mandatory – US, UAE (GCC) and/or Europe
✅ Proven Amazon scaling track record – must demonstrate 3x or higher growth with clear metrics (case studies required)
✅ Strong background in Beauty / Personal Care / FMCG (Ayurvedic or heritage brand experience highly preferred)
✅ Ability to demonstrate clear ROI outcomes (revenue growth, margin improvement, ACOS/TACOS optimization)
Preferred Background
- Ex‑Amazon Vendor Managers
- E‑commerce Heads / Marketplace Leads from D2C beauty or personal care brands
- Experience handling Ayurvedic, herbal, or heritage Indian brands in global markets
- Prior exposure to UAE / GCC consumer behavior and compliance norms
