Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ecommerce Key Accounts Manager based in Mumbai. The role involves managing and growing key ecommerce accounts by driving sales, monitoring performance metrics, and executing joint business plans with marketplace partners. The Ecommerce Key Accounts Manager will oversee product listings, pricing, promotions, inventory planning, and visibility on leading online platforms. The role includes coordinating with internal teams such as marketing, supply chain, and finance to ensure smooth operations and timely fulfillment. The professional in this position will also analyze sales data, identify growth opportunities, resolve account-related issues, and maintain strong relationships with ecommerce partners to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
Qualifications
- Strong Account Management and Key Accounts experience, preferably with major ecommerce marketplaces or online retail partners.
- Proven Analytical Skills to interpret sales data, market trends, and performance metrics, and to translate insights into actionable plans.
- Business Planning capabilities, including forecasting, target setting, and development of joint business plans and promotional calendars.
- Customer Service orientation with the ability to build and maintain productive, professional relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is an advantage.
- Experience in ecommerce, FMCG, consumer durables, or homeware categories is preferred.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence decision-makers.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other reporting tools; familiarity with marketplace dashboards and ecommerce analytics is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
