Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Amazon & Flipkart Ads Expert who can own end-to-end marketplace advertising performance. The core objective of this role is to drive profitable growth by planning, executing, optimizing, and scaling ad campaigns while maintaining highly detailed performance trackers at keyword, ASIN, placement, and campaign levels.
This is a results-driven role—you will be measured on ROAS improvement, efficient scaling, and disciplined optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Plan, launch, and manage Amazon Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and Flipkart Ads (PLA, Search, Display).
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly optimizations across:
- Keywords (search terms, match types, negatives)
- ASIN / product targeting
- Bids, budgets, and placements
- Structure campaigns for scalability and profitability (harvesting, isolation, expansion).
- Continuously test and optimize:
- New keywords & ASINs
- Auto → Manual mining strategies
- Placement bid adjustments (Top of Search, Product Pages).
- ROAS Scaling & Performance Growth
- Scale ad spend without hurting ROAS, using data-backed decisions.
- Identify scalable winners (keywords, ASINs, campaigns, placements).
- Control wasted spend through aggressive search term mining and negatives.
- Improve key metrics:
- ROAS / ACOS
- Conversion Rate (CVR)
- CTR
- TACOS (where applicable).
- Advanced Tracking & Reporting
- Maintain extremely detailed trackers, including but not limited to:
- Campaign-level performance
- Keyword-level performance
- Search term performance
- ASIN/product-level performance
- Placement-level performance
- Build and update trackers in Excel / Google Sheets on a daily or weekly basis.
- Track trends, anomalies, and performance drops before they impact revenue.
- Share clear insights and action plans, not just reports.
- Listing & Conversion Optimization Support
- Work closely with catalog/listing teams to:
- Improve product titles, bullets, images, A+ content (Amazon)
- Enhance PDP quality to improve CVR and ROAS.
- Identify listing gaps affecting ad performance and recommend fixes.
- Experimentation & Continuous Improvement
- Run structured experiments on:
- Bidding strategies
- Campaign structures
- New ad formats
- Stay updated with Amazon & Flipkart ad platform changes, betas, and best practices.
- Benchmark performance against category and historical data.
- Required Skills & Experience
- 4–8+ years of hands-on experience managing Amazon & Flipkart Ads.
- Proven track record of:
- Scaling spend with stable or improving ROAS
- Driving profitable growth for marketplaces
- Strong understanding of:
- Amazon Ads ecosystem & Flipkart Ads dashboard
- Keyword research, harvesting, and negation strategies
- Advanced Excel / Google Sheets skills (pivot tables, formulas, trackers).
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of numbers.
