Job Summary
The ECM Solution Engineer will design, implement, and support enterprise content management solutions that enable secure, reliable, and scalable business operations. This role combines hands-on engineering, platform administration, system integration, automation, and troubleshooting across ECM, middleware, web, and cloud technologies. The engineer will partner with technology teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to deliver sustainable solutions, improve platform performance, and ensure ongoing operational support. Success in this role requires strong technical depth in ECM platforms such as IBM FileNet, integration experience across complex enterprise environments, and the ability to document, communicate, and support solutions effectively.
You Will
- Demonstrate detailed working knowledge of Enterprise Content Management technologies to provide a solution that meets the requirements of the initiative while considering long term sustainability and supportability
- Research, troubleshoot and resolve problems related to vendor platform software, the applications that run on them and the systems that they interact with
- Communicate regularly and effectively with team members, stakeholders, and/or others within the organization as needed.
- Create documentation of the implemented solution to facilitate knowledge transfer and ongoing operational support
- Ability to work onsite in Bengaluru, India is a requirement of the role. *
- Hybrid role: onsite presence is required for key business engagements; remote flexibility applies based on team and business needs. *
Skills And Background You’ll Need
Education
- Required: Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science, or Information Technology
Experience
Required:
- Experience in engineering, configuring, and administering web technologies, middleware technologies and Enterprise Content Management technologies
- Experience with open-source solutions – Apache, JBOSS, Tomcat, etc.
- Functional and/or technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure or related cloud technology
- Experience working with IBM FileNet
- Solid understanding and proven experience with engineering and implementing integrated systems in a complex environment
- Ability to use critical thinking in order to perform diagnostics to resolve complex systems issues
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple work efforts to meet customer expectations in line with project delivery dates, system SLA’s and defined support services expectations
- Proven communication, documentation, and presentation skills to effectively communicate information to all levels within the organization
- PowerShell, Python, API integrations, automation workflows, and runbook development
- 4+ years of Java Coding Experience
- 3+ years of experience with Spring Framework
- Angular Coding Experience
- 3+ years deploying and managing solutions in Microsoft Azure
- 2+ years working with DevOps practices including IaC
Preferred
- Experience working with Kofax Capture or Kofax Total Agility
- KONG API Gateway
