Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for an Employee Benefits (EB) Underwriter, based in the Pune Division. The EB Underwriter will be responsible for assessing, analyzing, and evaluating risk profiles to develop comprehensive employee benefits programs. Day-to-day tasks include preparing underwriting quotes, collaborating with clients and stakeholders, performing financial risk analysis, and ensuring alignment with industry regulations and best practices. The role requires strong analytical and interpersonal skills to deliver value-driven solutions to clients.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in risk assessment, policy analysis, and underwriting within the insurance sector
- Strong understanding of Employee Benefits programs and industry regulations
- Analytical skills, including data analysis and financial modeling, to assess and mitigate risk
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for client engagement and stakeholder collaboration
- Attention to detail and ability to ensure accuracy in documentation and analysis
- Experience working within teams to develop and implement customized solutions
- Bachelor's degree in Insurance, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Working knowledge of industry software tools and analytics platforms is a plus
