PRIMARY FUNCTION:
•The primary function of this role is to lead and govern Quality Management activities across supplier, manufacturing, and project environments, ensuring compliance with technical, contractual, regulatory, and Eaton Quality Management System (EQMS) requirements. The position is accountable for supplier quality, non‑conformity management, inspections and testing, and the implementation of robust quality processes that support operational excellence and risk mitigation.
•The role supports quality assurance throughout the lifecycle of complex and critical infrastructure projects, interacting with engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and project teams, as well as customers and global suppliers.
• The professional is expected to have experience in projects involving Data Centers (hyperscale, colocation, or enterprise), critical low‑ and medium‑voltage electrical systems (LV/MV), UPS, and transformers—and other mission‑critical infrastructures that require high availability, reliability, and strong coordination across internal and external stakeholders.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provide technical quality support to manufacturing and project execution, ensuring robust processes and compliance with specifications and standards.
• Lead supplier quality management, including: Supplier audits and assessments (SSA), PPAP implementation and evaluation, Review and validation of Design and Process FMEA.
• Define, review and manage Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for suppliers and internal processes, ensuring proper inspection points, acceptance criteria and quality records.
• Plan, coordinate and support FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) and SAT (Site Acceptance Test) activities when applicable.
• Manage non-conformities (internal and supplier), conducting root cause analysis and ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions.
• Manage and deploy Quality Alerts to suppliers, Eaton plants and stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by: Analyzing Scrap, Rework and CONC, Driving process improvements and defect reduction, Supporting Lean Manufacturing and EQMS tools.
• Lead, coach and develop Supplier Quality and Quality Control teams, ensuring alignment with Eaton quality culture and ethical standards.
• Support periodic process audits, process checks and quality performance reviews. Management of Material Review Board analysis to destinate material for Scrao, Rework, Warranty (Supplier) or other improvement/ need.
