<div><u>Job Description</u></div><div> </div><div>Eastern Environmental Solutions, Inc. is a well-established and growing environmental service company based in Manorville, NY. </div><div>We are actively seeking a highly motivated, well experienced, results driven, and skilled Environmental Operations Manager. This is a fast paced, highly visible position. This position requires an individual that is team oriented, a multi-tasker, as well as, a strong individual contributor with a superior sense of urgency.</div><div> </div><div>For compliance purposes for NYS transparency, the expected salary range is $85,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year. Compensation will be based on experience, license and other factors permitted by law.</div><div> </div><div>Your duties will include but not be limited to:</div><ul>
<li>Reporting directly to the President of the company daily.</li>
<li> Developing key performance goals and managing the performance of the staff.</li>
<li>Creating and implementing strategies for business growth.</li>
<li> Oversees the daily operations of the field staff.</li>
<li>Maintaining Driver Files for all CDL Drivers. </li>
<li>Maintain accurate records, including manifests, inspection logs, and incident reports.</li>
<li>Working closely with Project Managers and other senior staff to retain clients.</li>
<li> Developing new solutions to meet client needs.</li>
<li> Improving internal processes for better productivity.</li>
<li> Overseeing large projects and interpreting performance reports.</li>
<li>Analyze service and quality issues, identifying training needs, ensure implementation of training programs and adhere to all training guidelines and policies.</li>
<li>Provide leadership support and direction to all staff members.</li>
<li>Work closely with senior managers to identify potential opportunities/clients while maintaining current client relations.</li>
<li>Provide leadership and direction to Project Managers, Technicians, and drivers to ensure safety and compliance with OSHA standards.</li>
<li>Must be able to maintain compliance with DOT, OSHA, and Federal/State/Local permit requirements.</li>
<li>Coordinate emergency response operations.</li>
</ul><div><u>Qualifications & Requirements:</u></div><ul>
<li>College education in environmental, engineering, or related science program preferred, but not mandatory. </li>
<li>Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental remedial and/or restoration projects. </li>
<li>Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (word, excel, outlook, Teams, etc.).</li>
<li>Ability to work with both internal and external staff members.</li>
<li>Keen strategic thinking and planning.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship.</li>
<li>Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening.</li>
<li>Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.</li>
<li>Good organization and time management.</li>
<li>Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of the industry.</li>
<li>Ability to execute our company’s core values and drive our Mission Statement.</li>
<li>Strong organization skills.</li>
<li>Other duties as assigned.</li>
