Skills And Experience

Desktop Support Engineer :

  • Provide technical support to end-users for hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to desktops, laptops, and peripherals.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems (Windows/Linux) and software applications.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and ensure proper maintenance of desktops and workstations.
  • Handle user account creation, permissions, and support Active Directory-related tasks.
  • Assist in setting up, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Support network connectivity issues, including VPNs and Wi-Fi configurations.
  • Respond to and resolve service desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
  • Document all incidents and resolutions using the service management tools.
  • Provide remote desktop support for users in various locations, as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of new desktop systems, software deployments, and hardware setups.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure smooth operation of infrastructure and resolve escalated issues.
  • Ensure adherence to security best practices, including data protection and compliance policies.
  • End user e-mail configuration and O365 working knowledge.
