About Taika Play Studio
Taika Play Studio is a play-based early years space being built from the ground up, with a focus on supporting growth and learning through thoughtfully designed environments, meaningful play experiences, and partnership with parents.
We are currently in startup mode - which means systems, routines, and culture are actively being shaped, not inherited. This is a space for people who are excited by building, experimenting thoughtfully, and contributing beyond a fixed job description.
The studio is founded by a parent and certified early years educator who brings a strong philosophy and a reflective approach to early childhood, and is intentionally building a team that complements this with on-ground experience, curiosity, and leadership. This is not a finished institution. It is a space that will evolve through collaboration, observation, and shared ownership.
Role Description and Intent
This is a full-time, on-site role based at Taika Play Studio, in Bangalore.
We’re looking for someone at the beginning of their journey in early childhood who is curious, reflective, and eager to grow through hands-on experience. You will work closely with experienced educators and the founder to support play-based learning experiences and build a strong understanding of how children learn and develop in the early years.
As an early member of the founding team, you will be present in the space daily - engaging with children, supporting learning environments, and participating in the planning and facilitation of play-based experiences. This role offers the opportunity to learn how intentional environments, observation, and thoughtful support come together to create meaningful early learning experiences.
As Taika Play Studio grows, this role is expected to grow too - with increasing responsibility, confidence, and leadership over time.
