Position Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled
End-to-End (E2E) Performance Testing Engineer with
6–8 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will design, execute, and analyze performance tests for complex software applications and databases, ensuring optimal
system reliability, scalability, and responsiveness. This role requires strong technical expertise, analytical capability, and collaboration across multiple engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Test Design & Implementation
- Design and implement comprehensive performance testing strategies covering load, stress, endurance, volume, and scalability testing for enterprise applications and databases.
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated performance test scripts using industry‑standard tools such as SOAP UI, Postman, JMeter, LoadRunner, and similar platforms.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with development, DevOps, infrastructure, and database teams to identify performance bottlenecks across application and data layers.
- Provide recommendations for performance tuning, architectural improvements, and system optimization.
Test Execution & Analysis
- Analyze performance test results, identify system behavior patterns, and prepare detailed performance reports with actionable insights.
- Communicate findings to stakeholders with clarity and precision, ensuring alignment on corrective actions.
Monitoring & Environment Management
- Monitor system performance during test cycles using profiling/monitoring tools such as Grafana, Azure Dashboards, or equivalent.
- Ensure performance test environments accurately reflect production‑scale workloads and configurations.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated on the latest performance testing methodologies, tools, frameworks, and best practices.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of performance testing processes, automation approaches, and reporting standards.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
Technical Experience
- 6–8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing, focusing on both application (API/UI) and database performance engineering.
- Strong expertise in SQL, including writing complex queries, performance tuning, and analyzing execution plans.
- In-depth understanding of web technologies, microservices architectures, and API testing.
- Proficiency with leading performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, Postman, SOAP UI, etc.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, and database architectures (SQL/Oracle).
- Experience using profiling and monitoring tools (Grafana, Azure Monitoring, etc.).
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate within cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Programming or scripting proficiency in C#, Python, Java, Shell, or similar languages.
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (IPv4/IPv6).
