Release Planning & Governance
- Plan, schedule, and communicate release windows and the overall release lifecycle.
- Maintain and publish the release calendar for all environments.
- Evaluate and optimize release management processes, quality gates, and deliverables.
- Ensure compliance with governance criteria, entry/exit criteria, and approval workflows.
- Conduct and facilitate release planning, Go/No-Go meetings, and stakeholder alignment.Technical Deployment & Automation
- Manage deployment processes using automation tools, scripts, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Coordinate with Development, QA, and Operations teams for builds, integration, deployment, and environment setup.
- Ensure release readiness and environment availability, including configuration management and provisioning.
- Maintain release infrastructure, build tools, and deployment frameworks.
- Implement and manage rollback procedures, version control workflows, and release automation.Monitoring, Risk & Issue Management
- Monitor and control all release activities across environments.
- Identify, manage, and communicate risks affecting release scope, timelines, or environments.
- Handle emergency releases, hotfix deployments, and rapid recovery situations.
- Troubleshoot deployment-related technical issues to ensure smooth and stable releases.Documentation & Reporting
- Review and verify completeness of release artifacts.
- Maintain technical release documentation (deployment plans, configuration details, troubleshooting steps).
- Publish regular release status reports and communicate progress to stakeholders
A Successful E-Store Release Manager Should Have
- A degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- Proficiency in release management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of hardware and peripherals within the technology industry.
- Excellent coordination and organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven experience managing cross-functional teams and complex release cycles.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Formal project management training/certification preferred.Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket) and build systems (Maven, Gradle).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
- Understanding of infrastructure automation, configuration management, and monitoring tools.
