Job Description
- Estimation & BOQ Preparation Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity take-offs, and project cost estimates for interior fit-out and turnkey projects. Analyze project drawings, specifications, and material requirements for accurate costing. Support tendering and bidding processes with detailed estimation reports. Review project scope and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Quantity Surveying & Cost Control Monitor project quantities and ensure cost control throughout project execution. Track project budgets, material consumption, and variations against approved BOQs. Prepare rate analysis and comparative statements for materials and services. Assist in minimizing project cost overruns and wastage.
- Vendor & Procurement Coordination Coordinate with procurement and vendor teams for material pricing and supplier quotations. Maintain vendor and subcontractor databases for estimation reference. Support procurement planning through accurate quantity assessments and material requirements. Collaborate with suppliers and contractors for technical and commercial clarifications.
- Project Coordination Work closely with Design, Production, Execution, and Operations teams for project planning and execution. Assist project teams in evaluating site requirements and project variations. Coordinate with site engineers for measurement verification and progress tracking.
- Documentation & Reporting Maintain estimation records, BOQs, technical documents, contracts, and cost reports systematically. Prepare project MIS reports related to costing, estimation status, procurement tracking, and project progress. Submit periodic reports and updates to management on project costing and budget performance.
- Contracts & Billing Support Assist in contractor billing verification and subcontractor quantity reconciliation. Support preparation and review of work orders, contracts, and project claims. Ensure billing accuracy as per project scope and approved quantities.
- Compliance & Quality Standards Ensure all estimation and quantity processes comply with company standards and project requirements. Maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and documentation integrity across all project records.
Job Expectations
- Strong understanding of BOQs, quantity surveying, costing, tendering, and project budgeting.
- Knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and turnkey project execution.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, estimation software, and ERP systems.
- Strong analytical, coordination, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work under deadlines.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
Minimum Job Experience
Minimum 3–8 years of experience in estimation and quantity surveying for interior fit-out, hospitality, commercial, or luxury residential projects.
