E&I Designer / Instrumentation Designer
Experience: 5–10 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech – Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics or relevant discipline
Industry: Oil & Gas / Engineering Design
Location: Mulund, Mumbai

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and check Electrical & Instrumentation design and drafting deliverables.
- Develop E&I equipment layouts, cable tray layouts, cable routing, cable schedules, load schedules and MCT schedules.
- Prepare termination drawings, loop diagrams, hook-up drawings, installation drawings, schematics, block diagrams, GA drawings and MTOs.
- Produce and modify 2D AutoCAD drawings as per project requirements and client comments.
- Perform interdisciplinary checks with Piping, Mechanical, Civil, Structural and other disciplines.
- Review vendor drawings for equipment and package items.
- Support engineering and construction teams through site surveys, red-line mark-ups and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate with Lead E&I Engineers and multidisciplinary project teams.
- Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, applicable standards and safety requirements.
Required Skills
- 5–10 years of experience in E&I / Instrumentation Design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and Word.
- Experience in Onshore / Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Knowledge of site engineering and construction activities.
- Experience with SP3D / PDMS / AVEVA / REVIT will be an advantage.
- Experience in Upstream / Downstream Oil & Gas projects preferred.
