ABOUT THE PEOPLE
We’re looking for a detail-oriented and trend-aware Merchandising Executive to manage product planning, assortment coordination, inventory movement, and launch execution at Argos.
You will work closely with product, inventory, marketing, and operations teams to ensure the right products are launched, stocked, positioned, and promoted effectively across channels.
This role is ideal for someone who understands consumer preferences, product coordination, and ecommerce operations, and can balance creativity with commercial thinking.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
- Assist in planning product assortments, collections, and launch calendars
- Coordinate with product, inventory, and marketing teams for timely product launches
- Track product performance, inventory movement, and stock availability
- Analyse sales trends and customer demand to support merchandising decisions
- Ensure product listings, pricing, and catalog information are accurate across platforms
- Maintain merchandising trackers, product documentation, and launch reports
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for product readiness and availability
- Monitor slow-moving and fast-selling inventory and share actionable insights
- Support campaign planning and seasonal merchandising activities
- Ensure product presentation aligns with Argos’ brand positioning and customer experience
REQUIREMENTS
- 2–4 years of experience in merchandising, ecommerce operations, inventory coordination, or product management
- Strong organisational and analytical skills
- Good understanding of ecommerce and D2C operations
- Comfortable working with spreadsheets, trackers, and reporting tools
- Strong attention to detail and execution ability
- Ability to coordinate across multiple teams and manage timelines
- Good communication and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
GOOD TO HAVE
- Experience with Shopify or ecommerce platforms
- Understanding of inventory planning and product lifecycle management
- Familiarity with fashion, accessories, watches, or lifestyle products
- Experience with sales reporting and product analytics
- Basic understanding of marketing and product launches
