About SkinBae
SkinBae is building a curated Korean skincare platform in India. We work closely with global Korean beauty brands and focus on education-led storytelling, strong visual identity, and long-term brand building across D2C, marketplaces, and offline retail.
As we continue scaling across marketplaces, we are looking for people who can combine growth thinking with operational excellence and execute at a high level across multiple brands and channels.
Role Overview
This role combines marketplace growth, commercial strategy, catalogue management, listing optimization, and operational execution across major marketplaces including Amazon, Nykaa, TIRA, Myntra, Flipkart, and emerging quick-commerce channels.
You will own marketplace performance, catalogue quality, visibility optimization, and launch execution across a portfolio of Korean beauty brands.
You will work closely with marketplace teams, operations, marketing, design, and leadership to ensure strong revenue growth while maintaining operational accuracy and scalability.
What You Will Own1. Marketplace Growth & Revenue Ownership
- Own GMV growth and marketplace performance across platforms
- Drive revenue growth while balancing profitability and operational efficiency
- Build marketplace-specific growth strategies based on:
- Consumer behaviour
- Category trends
- Platform dynamics
- Brand positioning
- Identify hero SKUs, growth opportunities, and expansion areas
2. Commercial Strategy & Marketplace Management
- Lead marketplace discussions around:
- Margins and commissions
- TOTs / MDF
- Sale participation
- Visibility spends
- Assortment expansion
- Ensure marketplace investments are ROI-driven
- Build strong relationships with category and account managers
- Support brand scaling through better commercial planning
3. End-to-End Listing & Catalogue Management
- Manage the complete listing lifecycle:
- Creation
- QC
- Go-live
- Optimization
- Maintenance
- Handle:
- Bulk uploads
- Variation mapping
- Catalogue updates
- Listing maintenance
- Suppression resolution
- Ensure all listings are:
- Accurate
- SEO optimized
- Marketplace compliant
- Conversion-ready
4. PDP Optimization & SEO
- Optimize:
- Product titles
- Bullet points
- Descriptions
- A+ content
- Backend keywords
- Brand stores
- Improve:
- Organic ranking
- Discoverability
- Click-through rates
- Conversion rates
- Ensure PDPs align with:
- Marketplace algorithms
- SEO best practices
- Brand positioning
5. Catalogue Data & Compliance Management
- Maintain Master SKU Tracker across brands and marketplaces
- Standardize:
- SKU naming
- Attributes
- Category mapping
- Barcode structures
- Ensure compliance with:
- MRP regulations
- Country of origin requirements
- Ingredient declarations
- Importer details
- Shelf-life requirements
- Maintain:
- MSDS documents
- Certifications
- Product documentation
6. Brand Launches & Go-to-Market Execution
- Manage launch readiness for:
- New brands
- New product launches
- Marketplace onboarding
- Ensure:
- Timely go-live
- Content readiness
- Compliance approvals
- Inventory mapping
- Marketplace coordination
- Align launch timelines with campaigns and sale events
7. Marketplace Visibility & Demand Generation
- Coordinate with marketing teams for:
- Marketplace campaigns
- Influencer initiatives
- Sale visibility
- Banner opportunities
- Search ranking improvements
- Support demand generation activities across marketplaces
8. Listing Health & Operational Excellence
- Monitor and resolve:
- Listing suppressions
- Catalogue mismatches
- Mapping issues
- Content rejections
- Account health concerns
- Coordinate with marketplace teams for faster issue resolution
- Ensure minimal listing downtime and operational disruption
9. SOP Building & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Build and improve SOPs for:
- Catalogue workflows
- Listing management
- QC processes
- Marketplace execution
- Introduce systems and process improvements to reduce errors
- Coordinate closely with:
- Operations team
- Marketing team
- Design team
- Brand team
- Finance team
- Ensure smooth execution across departments
