Role Description This is a full-time, on-site E-Commerce Manager role based in Gurugram, focused on managing marketplace channels such as Amazon, Flipkart, and other leading platforms. The E-Commerce Manager will oversee marketplace operations, including product listings, catalog management, pricing, promotions, and inventory coordination in partnership with internal and external stakeholders. The role involves analyzing sales performance, traffic, conversion rates, and campaign results to drive growth and optimize return on investment. The E-Commerce Manager will collaborate with marketing, sales, supply chain, and customer service teams to ensure a consistent brand experience and smooth order fulfillment. The position also entails managing marketplace relationships, negotiating terms, ensuring compliance with platform policies, and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
Qualifications
- Strong business negotiation skills, with experience managing marketplace partnerships and commercial terms.
- Advanced analytical skills to interpret sales data, marketplace metrics, and performance dashboards for decision-making.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal teams, marketplace partners, and external vendors.
- Customer service orientation with the ability to address marketplace customer issues and enhance ratings and reviews.
- Proven sales skills in e-commerce or marketplace environments, with a track record of driving revenue and growth.
- Experience managing Amazon, Flipkart, or other major marketplaces for a consumer brand, preferably in FMCG or home products.
- Proficiency with e-commerce tools, marketplace dashboards, MS Excel, and basic reporting and forecasting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree is an advantage.
- Ability to work on-site in Gurugram, manage multiple priorities, and deliver within tight timelines.
- Knowledge of digital marketing, pricing strategies, and inventory planning for marketplace operations is highly beneficial.
