Key Responsibilities
• Acquire and onboard new brands, and drive their growth across marketplaces
• Lead brand discussions, negotiations, and ensure seamless onboarding
• Build and execute marketplace growth strategies for each brand
• Drive FGMV/GMV growth across multiple platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
• Identify gaps across:
• Listings & content
• Pricing & positioning
• Catalog depth (SKU expansion)
• Account/portal hygiene
• Operations & fulfillment
• Act as the primary point of contact for brands and handle escalations effectively
• Conduct weekly and monthly performance reviews with brands, with clear action plans
• Ensure high client retention and continuous account expansion
Skills Required
• Strong understanding of e-commerce marketplaces (Amazon, Flipkart, etc.)
• Solid grasp of pricing, catalog management, and competitive benchmarking
• Strong problem-solving and execution ability
• Experience in vendor/client management
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and data analysis
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Ability to manage teams and drive cross-functional execution
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
• MBA (Marketing/Finance) or MCA is a plus
Experience
• 4–10 years of experience in e-commerce / marketplace growth
• Background in brands, marketplace agencies, or aggregators preferred
Communication
• Strong verbal and written communication in English and Hindi
