About the Role
We are looking for a proactive and eager-to-learn E-commerce Intern who wants to understand the complete working of an e-commerce business from the inside. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, coordinating with multiple teams, speaking with clients, and learning different parts of online business operations.
The intern will get hands-on exposure to e-commerce backend operations, client communication, order coordination, product listing, marketing activities, and day-to-day business processes.
Key Responsibilities
The intern will be responsible for supporting the team across multiple e-commerce activities, including:
Client Coordination
- Coordinate with clients over calls, WhatsApp, and emails for order-related updates.
- Understand client requirements and share accurate information with internal teams.
- Follow up with clients for approvals, details, pending inputs, and feedback.
E-commerce Backend Operations
- Work on the e-commerce backend for product uploads, product edits, inventory updates, pricing, and order tracking.
- Support the team in maintaining product information, images, descriptions, SKUs, and stock updates.
- Assist in checking website orders and ensuring timely coordination for dispatch.
Marketing & Growth Activities
- Learn and support basic marketing activities across website, WhatsApp, social media, and campaigns.
- Assist in preparing product content, offers, promotional updates, and campaign-related coordination.
- Coordinate with the creative and marketing teams for product shoots, content, and online promotions.
Internal Team Coordination
- Work closely with operations, design, marketing, production, and dispatch teams.
- Ensure smooth communication between teams for timely task completion.
- Help maintain trackers, reports, and daily updates.
Learning & Execution
- Learn different aspects of e-commerce such as product management, order management, customer experience, marketing, and backend processes.
- Take ownership of assigned tasks and complete them within timelines.
- Support the team wherever required in day-to-day execution.
- Required Skills
- Good communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Comfortable speaking with clients over calls.
- Basic computer knowledge and willingness to learn new tools.
- Good coordination and follow-up skills.
- Ability to multitask and work with multiple teams.
- Positive attitude and quick learning mindset.
- Basic understanding of e-commerce, social media, or marketing will be an added advantage.
- Attention to detail while working on product data, orders, and client requirements.
