We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented E-commerce Executive to manage end-to-end operations across various online marketplaces and quick commerce platforms. The candidate will be responsible for catalog management, platform operations, sales optimization, customer coordination, and order fulfilment while ensuring smooth day-to-day execution across e-commerce channels.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Big Basket, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and similar marketplaces. The role requires strong analytical skills, operational efficiency, and the ability to coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Online Catalog Management
- Ensure menu and product catalog hygiene across all e-commerce platforms.
- Manage product listings, descriptions, pricing, images, and stock availability.
- Conduct regular catalog audits to identify and resolve errors, inconsistencies, or missing information.
- Optimize listings to improve search visibility and customer engagement.
- E-Commerce Platform Operations
- Handle day-to-day operations across platforms such as Amazon, Shopify, Big Basket, Swiggy Instamart, Blinkit, and other marketplaces.
- Coordinate with platform POCs for campaigns, promotions, visibility opportunities, and operational support.
- Resolve technical, listing, or operational issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and management of products across multiple platforms.
- Sales & Performance Optimization
- Drive online sales growth through data-driven strategies and promotional planning.
- Execute marketing and promotional activities to improve visibility and conversions.
- Analyse platform-wise sales performance and identify opportunities for growth.
- Research and onboard new e-commerce portals to expand the company’s digital presence.
- Monitor product performance and optimize listings for maximum reach and conversion.
- Customer Coordination
- Address customer queries, complaints, and escalations across e-commerce channels.
- Coordinate with customer support teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, ratings, and reviews.
- Maintain strong customer engagement and brand loyalty.
- Logistics & Order Fulfilment
- Coordinate with production, warehousing, and logistics teams for timely order processing and dispatch.
- Track and resolve issues related to delays, returns, cancellations, and damaged orders.
- Monitor inventory levels to avoid stock-outs or overstocking situations.
- Ensure smooth fulfilment operations across all online platforms.
- Online Reputation Management
- Monitor customer feedback, ratings, and reviews across e-commerce platforms.
- Respond to reviews and customer concerns professionally and promptly.
- Work closely with the marketing team to maintain a positive brand image online.
- Implement strategies to improve online reputation and customer trust.
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Use Excel and other analytical tools to evaluate sales trends, customer behaviour, and platform performance.
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly MIS and performance reports.
- Provide actionable insights to improve campaigns, sales, and product placements.
- Track KPIs including sales, conversion rates, order fulfilment, and customer feedback.
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with marketing, warehousing, production, supply chain, and customer support teams.
- Coordinate with digital marketing teams for promotional campaigns and brand visibility initiatives.
- Stay updated with the latest e-commerce trends, platform updates, and industry best practices.
- Support cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of business objectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, E-commerce, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in e-commerce or marketplace operations.
- Hands-on experience with Amazon, Shopify, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart, Big Basket, or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of catalog management and marketplace operations.
- Good analytical and reporting skills with proficiency in MS Excel.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
