Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive E-commerce Assistant to support our day-to-day online business operations. The role involves assisting in product listings, order processing, customer coordination, and backend support to ensure the smooth functioning of e-commerce activities across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
E-commerce Operations Support
- Assist in creating and updating product listings (titles, descriptions, images, pricing)
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of product information across platforms
Order Management
- Process and track customer orders
- Coordinate with logistics and warehouse teams for timely dispatch
- Monitor order status, returns, and cancellations
Customer Support
- Handle basic customer queries via email, chat, or marketplace platforms
- Ensure timely resolution and maintain customer satisfaction
Inventory Coordination
- Coordinate with warehouse/store team for stock updates
- Help maintain accurate inventory records on e-commerce platforms
Data & Reporting
- Maintain records of orders, sales, and returns
- Assist in preparing basic reports and MIS
Coordination
- Work closely with internal teams (accounts, warehouse, and marketing)
- Support in day-to-day operational tasks
Key Skills & Competencies
- Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms (Amazon, Flipkart, Shopify, etc.)
- Good communication skills (written & verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets
- Ability to multitask and follow processes
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience (Freshers can apply)
