Job title: Dynatrace SME (8-10 yrs)

Job responsibilities
• Serve as the primary Dynatrace SME for monitoring strategy, architecture, and implementation.
• Design, deploy, and manage Dynatrace OneAgent, ActiveGate, and cluster components across enterprise environments.
• Configure application performance monitoring (APM), infrastructure monitoring, and digital experience monitoring.
• Develop and maintain custom dashboards, alerts, and problem detection rules.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide root cause analysis for application and infrastructure issues.
• Integrate Dynatrace with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps tools, and ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Automate monitoring processes using Dynatrace APIs and scripting.
• Work closely with DevOps, Cloud, Infrastructure, and Application teams to improve system reliability and performance.
• Provide capacity planning, performance tuning, and optimization recommendations.
• Maintain documentation, best practices, and governance standards for Dynatrace deployments.
• Support cloud and container environments including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 8-10 years of IT experience with 5+ years of hands-on Dynatrace experience.
• Strong knowledge of Dynatrace platform architecture and components.
• Experience with Dynatrace OneAgent deployment and configuration.
• Expertise in APM, distributed tracing, and observability concepts.
• Experience monitoring microservices, containers, and cloud-native applications.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows environments.
• Familiarity with REST APIs, scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Git, or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Dynatrace certifications such as Dynatrace Associate or Dynatrace Professional.
• Experience integrating Dynatrace with ServiceNow, Splunk, or other observability platforms.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience working in large enterprise or distributed environments.
