About the Role
The Dynamics F&O Support Engineer is responsible for providing functional and technical support for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations applications. The role ensures smooth day-to-day operations, timely issue resolution, and continuous system stability across finance and supply chain modules.
Responsibilities
- Provide L2/L3 support for Dynamics 365 F&O modules such as Finance, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Sales
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues, incidents, and service requests
- Monitor system performance, batch jobs, integrations, and data flows
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial close activities
- Assist with data corrections, configuration changes, and minor enhancements
- Coordinate with Microsoft support and implementation partners when required
- Maintain support documentation, SOPs, and knowledge base articles
- Ensure compliance with SLAs and support processes
Qualifications
- 2–6 years of experience supporting Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations
- Strong understanding of Finance and/or Supply Chain business processes
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with issue troubleshooting, batch jobs, and workflows
- Knowledge of LCS, lifecycle services, and environment monitoring
- Experience with SQL queries for data validation and analysis
- Familiarity with integrations (DMF, APIs, third-party systems)
- Understanding of security roles, duties, and privileges
- Good communication skills and ability to interact with business users
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Azure DevOps for ticketing and release management
- Exposure to Power Platform (Power BI, Power Automate)
- Basic knowledge of X++ for debugging and issue analysis
- Experience in retail, manufacturing, or finance domain projects
