We are seeking an experienced Dynamics 365 GP Consultant with strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains) to support implementation, customization, upgrade, and ongoing support initiatives. The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders to translate financial and operational requirements into effective GP solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Dynamics GP Implementation & Support

• Lead and support end-to-end Dynamics 365 GP implementations, upgrades, and migrations
• Analyze business requirements and configure GP modules to meet client needs
• Provide post-implementation support, troubleshooting, and optimization

Functional Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with GP modules including:
• Financial Management (GL, AP, AR, FA)
• Inventory Management
• Purchasing & Sales Order Processing
• Project Accounting (preferred)
• Payroll (preferred)
• Perform system configuration, setup, and data validation

Technical & Integration Support

• Work with Dexterity, VBA, SQL Server, and SSRS reports
• Support integrations between Dynamics GP and third-party applications
• Assist with data migration, data imports, and system performance tuning

Reporting & Data Management

• Develop and customize reports using SSRS, SmartList Builder, Excel Reports
• Ensure data integrity, reconciliation, and compliance with financial standards

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Work closely with finance, accounting, and IT teams
• Provide user training, documentation, and knowledge transfer
• Act as a trusted advisor on Dynamics GP best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains)
• 5+ years of Dynamics GP functional and/or techno-functional experience
• Strong understanding of accounting and financial processes
• Hands-on experience with SQL Server and GP databases
• Experience with GP upgrades and version migrations
• Excellent communication and client-facing skills
