Role Description
The Deputy Manager - Welding will oversee and execute welding tasks with a focus on ensuring high-quality results. This full-time, on-site role based in the Pune Division will require handling various types of welding techniques and supervising welding processes to meet project specifications. Responsibilities include conducting welding operations, selecting appropriate materials, maintaining equipment, ensuring adherence to safety standards, and coordinating with teams for seamless project execution.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in multiple welding techniques, including Arc Welding, TIG Welding, and MIG Welding
- Strong understanding of materials and their properties as they pertain to welding processes
- Experience in conducting inspections, ensuring quality standards, and using welding equipment effectively
- Ability to manage and train teams on safety protocols and operational practices
- Educational background in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or a related engineering discipline preferred
- Experience in heavy engineering and familiarity with industrial fabrication processes is a plus
