The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and fostering a relationship with our suppliers and vendors. You will also oversee the implementation of the supply and production strategies.
Responsibilities
- Import Logistics including Timely shipment & Custom clearance without any delay & penalty.
- Interacting with overseas suppliers for all commercial terms
- Forwarding Agency & CHA coordination
- Export Logistics
- Interacting with customer based on their requirement.
- Taking price approval & issue of PI & taking PI confirmation from supplier.
- Follow-up for stock availability & arranging shipment to customers as per their nominated FF agency
- Customer payment follow-up.
- Import / Export Data analysis
- Filing EPR & documentation for ensuring compliances
- Align purchasing with demand forecasts and inventory planning
- Maintain MIS, costing, and documentation in Excel
Qualifications
- B. Tech Mechanical / Electrical with MBA
- Strong negotiation skills
- 8-10 years' of purchasing experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
