Job Overview
The Dy Director / Sr Manager – Quality Assurance will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance frameworks, accreditation processes, and institutional ranking strategies. This role is critical in ensuring, regulatory compliance and continuous institutional improvement. The candidate will work closely with university leadership, faculty, and external accreditation bodies to uphold and enhance the university’s academic reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Quality Assurance & Institutional Excellence:
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies, frameworks, and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for academic and administrative functions.
- Monitor and evaluate academic programs to ensure adherence to national and international quality standards.
- Conduct internal audits, faculty assessments, and feedback mechanisms to drive continuous improvement.
- Accreditation & Compliance:
- Support in university’s accreditation and reaccreditation efforts with national and international accreditation bodies (NAAC, NBA, UGC, etc.).
- Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and institutional ranking criteria.
- Prepare and submit reports, self-study documents, and compliance documentation for accreditation agencies.
- Institutional Rankings & Benchmarking:
- Develop strategies to improve the university’s position in global and national ranking frameworks (QS World University Rankings, THE Rankings, NIRF, etc.).
- Benchmark institutional performance against peer universities and recommend improvement strategies.
- Data Management & Reporting:
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data on academic performance, faculty credentials, research output, and student satisfaction.
- Present insights and reports to senior leadership for informed decision-making.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA (specialization in data analytics will be preferred ); Ph.D. is an advantage.
- Minimum 7-12 years of experience in quality assurance, accreditation, or higher education administration is mandatory.
- Preferred candidate with experience in International Accreditations - AACSB, AMBA, QAA, EQUIS.
- Proficiency in advanced MS Office skills, particularly MS Excel is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of national and international accreditation frameworks.
- Experience in data analysis, institutional assessment, and ranking methodologies.
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with accreditation bodies (NAAC, NBA, UGC, etc.).
- Strong writing skills, with a command of English language
- Expertise in data-driven decision-making for institutional development.
- Hands-on experience with Excel-based automation and reporting dashboards.
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with assessment tools.
