The ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders and work collaboratively with colleagues across multi-functional teams. Experience of effectively communicating at different levels across a range of stakeholders using a variety of methods including digital, written and verbal. Experience of analysing and interpreting complex data and/or technical information, using sound judgement, to recommend considered approaches to improve situations and tasks and give explanations to colleagues, stakeholders and customers using the most appropriate method of communication to simplify and ensure understanding. Experience of working under pressure, being able to effectively manage multiple pieces of work and ensuring actions are completed in a timely manner. Deliver excellent customer service which balances quality and cost effectiveness. Knowledge of IT Service Management with some experience in Delivery Management and Product Lifecycles. You and your role In collaboration with a range of internal/external partners, stakeholders and customers you will be responsible for ensuring best practices are adhered to across the department and supporting teams on how to deliver quality, modern Infrastructure solutions, ensuring the operational stability, availability and quality of DWP Networks. Our key areas of responsibility are to provide support to engineering, ensuring that a robust and resilient infrastructure is maintained. All Products, services and processes need to be clearly understood and continually reviewed, whilst keeping roadmaps aligned to Business Services and Device Lifecycles from initial procurement to disposal. Using a wide variety of tools including Splunk and Service Now we are constantly assessing Network services within the multiple Data Centres with a Secure Boundary network to allow integration with Cloud Service Providers which provides a secure, resilient service for our users. You will also demonstrate a good understanding of the Incident and Problem management of your products, utilising the ITIL framework with a focus on understanding the root cause to prevent incidents and taking a proactive approach to driving forward incident and service issue resolution.
