Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Duty Medical Officer based in Chennai. The Duty Medical Officer will be responsible for providing quality medical care, including initial diagnosis and treatment, monitoring patient progress, and liaising with physicians and specialists as required. Additional responsibilities include assisting in surgeries, ensuring proper documentation of patient records, and facilitating training and education to support staff.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Medicine and Patient Care to ensure optimal treatment and monitoring of patients
- Skilled in performing and assisting with basic surgical procedures
- Experience working collaboratively with Physicians and other medical professionals
- Aptitude for providing guidance, mentorship, and Training to support staff and nursing.
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Strong interpersonal communication and decision-making skills
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and emergencies with professionalism
